During Hurricane Harvey, the Houston Food Bank faced safety and logistical challenges due to the significant rain fall, the duration of the storm and the onslaught of donations coming in from across the company. The stress the food bank endured highlighted areas they wanted to improve after the flooding subsided. BASF partnered with the organization to conduct a safety “walk through”. Together with the food bank team members, the group sets out to ensure that the facility is a fun, productive and safe environment for volunteers and employees.
