Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public’s assistance identifying the suspect responsible for at least three store robberies in north Houston.
On May 25, 2019 at 12:50 pm, an unknown male armed with a semi-automatic handgun entered the Sam Washateria, located at 800 Crosstimbers, in Houston, Texas. The male immediately grabbed the clothing of a customer and began to drag him to the cash register. Once at the register, he pointed the gun at the employee as he demanded and took money from the register. The employee complied and the suspect then left the scene in a black 2008-2001 Chevrolet Avalanche. HPD case #660058-19
A short time later at 1:28 pm, the same male entered the Amaris Bakery located at 614 E. Crosstimbers, which is a couple of blocks away from the washateria. The male spoke with an employee and appeared to be making a purchase, when he suddenly took a pistol out from his clothing and pointed it at the employees. The suspect proceeded to go behind the counter and grabbed the clothing of an employee as he pushed them through the business. Once the suspect had the money from the register, he left the business in the same black Chevrolet Avalanche. HPD case #660205-19
On June 1, 2019 at 6:52 pm, the suspect walked into the Metro PCS, located at 5101 Tidwell, in Houston, Texas. The male asked for the manager and then pulled out a handgun and demanded that everyone get on the ground. The suspect demanded that everyone keep their heads down or he would shoot one of the females in the store. The suspect removed the money from within the store and then fled in a dark colored Mercedes Benz sedan. HPD case #693896-19
Suspect description: Black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’9 to 6’0, 180 to 200 pounds, has a beard and mustache and has dark skin.
