New Business Development Manager - IT Solutions into the Energy Industry

Chronos Consulting's client is a global leader in providing IT solutions across industries to Fortune 500 clients. Due to strong business growth, they are expanding their Business Development teams across verticals. This is a great opportunity for a strong consultative sales individual with experience selling IT solutions into the Energy industry. We are seeking a results oriented, road warrior ready to hit the ground running and make an impact in this region.
Reporting to the North America Head of Sales, you will be accountable for:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by acquiring new clients with Fortune 500 level clients
Cultivating, generating, and growing large scale relationships within the Energy vertical
Ensuring high customer satisfaction by working closely with project teams to achieve committed service quality
Assisting in price structuring and price negotiations with potential clients
Identifying most effective channels of new service communication (trade shows, promotional literature, etc)
Recommending new market initiatives and opportunities to management
Degree in relevant field (e.g. business, marketing). Advance degree preferred (MBA, MS).
8-10+ years of business development experience selling IT solutions with experience selling into the Energy industry.
Demonstrated ability to build and expand relationships with C-Level executives
Knowledge and experience with the offshore/far-site model
Ability to prioritize diverse tasks and anticipate and solve problems in a systematic manner
Works well under pressure, proven time management skills and strong attention to detail and a road warrior and client facing mentality
Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Business/results oriented with experience in forecasting, business planning, and financial transactions
Home based with extensive travel in the region
