Premier Professional Business Networking In Houston | Events | Tools | Help
Thank you for being a member of InHouston. Some remember InHouston when it started as LinkedIn Houston in 2007. When we reached 2000+ members we added a yahoo group and then eventually the ning.com site we use today.
Now, you are are one of 35,000 plus members in this site, our facebook pages/groups, and our linkedin groups and our twitter accounts.
Even so, we missed you if you didn't come to our last event July 8th. I am sure it is because most of you were still recovering from the holiday, right?
Our next big event is in Katy next Tuesday, but stay glued to this page and RSVP even if you are not sure you can come for ever Featured event here: http://theinhouston.com/events/event/listFeatured .
We are adding more regularly events in NW Houston near Vintage Park, in SugarLand at their City Center, and locations all around Houston, so make sure you keep up-to-date for the featured InHouston events on that page: http://theinhouston.com/events/event/listFeatured .
I believe that meeting at a mixer is just the start of things. The next step to build more solid relationships is to sit down over coffee. If you believe that too and we haven't had that chance, please reach out to me at email@example.com and 281.377.6296 direct/txt. Let's fix that.
Some of the amazing people I meet or saw again at the last event were:
Jon King, a mainstay in Houston Networking. Did you know this about Jon? http://samhoustonswfilmfund.com/our-team/6/jon-king
Jay Olson, Goosehead Insurance in Sugarland.
Ben Aronson with one of the largest office furniture companies building out their Houston market.
Newell Cheatum, building designer, and servant leader of our longest standing mixer InHouston Katy which is coming up next Tuesday in Katy. Don't miss.
Liliana Cuevas and Chris Wood of Cogent.
Darrel Borden in energy.
Hal Hoodwin in mortgage lending.
Mr. Robert Castle looking for sales managers for Jared.com.
A couple of gentlemen from Tejas Office products were there as well.
And, David Rotella who is now with Brian Tracy's Focal Point Coaching.
Just to name a few. Want to get named next month? Come out and meet me and if you impress me as a servant leader I'll be glad to mention you. Bring lots of guest to our August event, and make sure everyone interested in Houston's largest premier business open networking mixers uses their facebook, linkedin, twitter or google account to join our site and start meeting all of these great people too.
Don't forget to network between the events by posting helpful blogs on your profile here and if you send me the link to a new blog you like to my above email address I might feature it.
Finally, we are still looking for more InHouston 40 under 40 nominations. The only key is that it is a positive nomination by a member of InHouston. We look forward to featuring our nominees soon and our final list when the decisions are in.
See you next mixer!
