The Grapes are Not Sour if someone holds you Accountable.

I was in the basement of the library the other day, helping clean up some old books, and I found the "unabridged" version of Aesop's "The Fox and the Grapes." It seems that the story we all grew up with was just a shortened version, because Aesop's editor changed it before it went to print.

In the short version, the fox kept jumping for the grapes, but could not reach them, and so walked away grumbling, "they were probably sour anyway."

Setting a "Giving Goal" - Do more than just TALK about being a giver

Last night, I was cleaning an old bottle when a Genie popped out and offered me a nickel for every person who says they are a "giver" and that they really believe that "giver's gain." I was ready to really "rake it in!"

Sadly, however, the Genie saw my excitement and added the caveat that, in order for me to actually GET the nickel, that person had to actually DO SOMETHING and really give.

So here I am, still having to work to get money, because…
