In FY2011, the federal government was slated to spend $1.3T. Of that amount, 98% went to BIG COMPANIES in spite of the fact that, by law, 39% of all federal dollars are supposed to go to SMALL BUSINESSES, including all contracts under $150,000. The Houston Chapter of the International Association of U.S. Government Contractors will be hosting a free seminar- "Federal Contracts Over Coffee"- on Friday, Sept. 16th from 1-2:30pm at the Hinsley Law Office, 6001 Savoy, Houston, TX 77036.
