no, would like to, going when I can fit it into my schedule
Perfect Client
The perfect client would be an existing or developing community outreach program looking to add methods to help individuals express their emotions and experiences.

In addition, other ideal clients would include a cafe, lounge, jazz club, restaurant, school or any business that would like to establish a poetry reading or night and do not have the time to faciliate it.
Target Market(s)
We target teens and young adults that have been through traumatic experiences to include: domestic violence, child abuse, neglect, etc... These individuals will have a need to learn how to express their negative experiences and emotions in a positive manner.

We also target poetry lovers to attend poetry readings and competitions.
Urgent Needs and Compelling Desires of Target Market(s)
We currently need sponsors for our events as we launch the Freestylz Poetry Reading at various locations including Harris & Fort Bend County Libraries.

Ideal sponsors will donate refreshments for free events and prizes for competitions in exchange for advertising spot on flyers, website, postcards, etc.

We need volunteers to assist at our events and to perform. We also would love for well known poets and speakers to volunteer an appearance at our readings.

I am looking for individuals with prior experience willing to mentor me on grant writing, establishing a nonprofit organization, and launching this business.
Opportunities said Target Market(s) would love to invest in
UnCharted Territory's goal is to secure a facility of its own where individuals can enjoy our creative arts program which will include poetry readings and competitions, as well as mini-skits performed by local talents. Ideally, as we expand we will attract special guests and continue to promote the growth of our local artists.
Benefits of investible opportunities to Target Market(s)
We aim to help the community build self-esteem and confidence, while strengthening their communication and public speaking skills. UnCharted Territory shares the power and beauty of spoken words and drama through its creative arts programs and creates a positive impact.

Our target market will be able to gather and share their creative talents and express their experiences and emotions in a positive manner.
"Other interests" (Traveling, wine, books, etc...):
Writing poetry, short stories, and skits.
What does your company do to focus on its purpose?
As we are in the beginning stage, we simply seek like-minded individuals with a passion and/or appreciation for the creative arts. We need businesses and/or individuals willing to help us finance through sponsorship and donations in order for us to promote our service and get the teens involved. The more teens involved, the less they are in trouble and the more that they understand the value of their life and the path that they set.
Please support our cause.

This is one of my outreach programs called "Shattered Dreams" for underage drinking and driving I host at the high schools in this area I did it at Spring High School on April 8, 2010. We make a mini movie at every high school using 32 students as actors, then they spend the night with me in trauma at the hospital.

Howdy!!!

About Jennifer Y. Smith-Dickson: her dreams... her goals...

I would like to connect with movie/play/book agents. I have a short stories that I wan to turn into plays and share with the local community and other cities. I began writing at age 10 in the small town of Bellville, TX. Throughout my teen years I could never get the break I needed to connect with people as Bellville was secluded from the city. My goal is to help other teens and young adults with a passion for poetry and skits and give them the opportunity to perform for local residents and others.

I want to connect with individuals that are in the position to listen to my story ideas and/or read my work and connect me with the right people that can make my dreams a reality.

My goals for joining InHouston: (1) to pursue my career in writing OR (2) to find a new career path in which I can grow and advance professionally. I have a Master in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Though my experience has been limited to the accounting and hospitality industry, I am looking to find a stable company that is ready to hire a positive, motivated, persistance and results driven individual. I would appreciate it if InHouston could review my resume for suggested positions and companies. I would like to venture into public relations, media, communications, community outreach, or marketing, but am willing to stay in the accounting positions.

Thank you!
