How did you hear about this site InHouston?

Marketing, Communications and Design
Niche (Services/Products your company provides:)
creative designs and branding, online presence and performance, and multi-media solutions, with emphasis on social media, small business advertising, internal and external communications, event and strategic planning.
About Me:
I am the President and CEO of JCS Creative Branding and Communications. I started JCS as a free-lancer with strong interest in branding small businesses to establish a look and feel most representative of their services and/or products, while managing and maintaining a limited budget. I often wondered, "If the big companies can have 'that look' why can't small companies accomplish the same?" The Issue: Big Vision, Small Budget. The Solution: JCS - Affordable solutions without compromising quality!

Over time, JCS implemented a variety of creative solutions that ultimately aim to drive market behavior and help grow businesses. While creative design is the foundation of JCS, our solutions are very comprehensive, encompassing pretty much all that is related to marketing and communications: logo and collateral design, web design, online performance/functionality, web maintenance, SEO, link building, multi-media and social media solutions, event planning, internal and external communications, and other solutions unique to your needs.

My goal is to develop long lasting relationships with my clients - from conception of a unique design and feel, through the communication of a company's core values and goals. Small business to small business - No one gets you better than JCS! We care about your growth and look forward to creating the way the world sees your business!

Perfect Client
A perfect client for JCS is one who knows their needs and understand the value and importance of branding, communications and marketing, to their business success.
Target Market(s)
Any new or existing business looking to either develop or enhance its brand - look and feel. Any new or existing business with a need for further communicating its brand through various vehicles (i.e., websites, social media, eblasts, tradeshows, events, etc.). Any new or existing business looking to promote its services/products, or requiring product packaging, or consultation regarding new strategic direction or planning, or enhancing internal/external communications.
Urgent Needs and Compelling Desires of Target Market(s)
Today's economy calls for careful planning and spending, particularly for small businesses. Receiving quality solutions at affordable costs is important. Moreover, understanding how best to spend your hard earned dollars is even more important. Misappropriation of funds, particularly of your marketing budget, can result in lost of valuable time and misrepresentation of your business image, or worse, improper targeting of your products/services. JCS ensures you not only get the highest quality in design and performance, but that you understand how best to reach your target and communicate your brand.
What does your company do to focus on its purpose?
We attempt to stay involved in small business events and establish networks that focus on small business development. These efforts are aligned with our goals and purpose, as we aspire to ultimately contribute to the business community as a pillar and resource for small businesses.

You are an independent business owner like I am but I hope you aren’t in the same state that I was in – without healthcare.  So many of us who are independent are lacking in this area.

Healthcare in our country is a multi-trillion-dollar industry, yet over 50 million Americans lack coverage of some kind.

Several changes in the Health Care Affordabilty Act, have already been implemented.

  • Children under a parent’s health insurance plan can now remain on their parents plan up to age 26.
  • Also, children with preexisting health conditions cannot be excluded from coverage.
  • More changes are expected this year.

There are ways for Americans to get affordable Dental and Medical insurance coverage today, without being turned down.

If you are an employer, you may face a $2,000 fine per employee after the first 30 employees if health insurance is not provided to employees.

If you employ less than 25 employees and the average wage of employees is less than $50,000, tax credits are available for you, which might be an incentive to provide health coverage.

We need to be informed now, because in 2014, there will be a lot of changes.

How does your company go about this. Do you primarily have small company clients? How long have you done this type of marketing?
