The Houston Black Heritage Music & Arts Festival celebrated its 5th Annual Anniversary at Midtown Park in Houston, TX on Saturday, March 7, 2020!
The full day event, produced by Mocha Brown Productions featured a myriad of African American culture with performances by the legendary Tony Toni Tone, Earl Detrick, and many more! Sounds were provided by the 13 year old DJ Layla. Hosts Fiya Media Mogul and Majic 102.1’s KG Smooth kept the crowd entertained and informed throughout the day.
Fashion icon, Tim Thorn of Paisley 360 returned this to host another phenomenal fashion show with designs from Kameereo Crisp and M Shareece Gregory of All4You Boutique. Several leading recipients were recognized during The Black Heritage Honors Ceremony including the event project manager, Nicolette Ferguson.
Guests were able to enjoy the festivities, onsite shopping, fashion and amazing food from local vendors. The Black Heritage Festival has become a staple in providing scholarships and recognition in the African American community.
