Our 3rd Annual Houston Chili Fest took place on February 15th at Bayou City Event Center that featured live country music, silent auction, chili cookoffs, and tons of great games like bucket pong, giant battleship, and a mechanical bull! We partnered with WorldWide Power Products, Tellepsen, Harvey Builders, and Mooring USA Construction to make this event possible. We had over 1,000 people attend our event with 47 chili teams competing for Overall Best Chili, Best Chili with no beans, Best Chili with beans, and Best White or Vegetarian Chili, as well as a People’s Choice.

As with anything, we work diligently to ensure that this event continues to grow each year and we are always looking for ways to contribute to our community; that’s why this year we were able to feature two charitable organizations! The Houston Chili Fest 2019 benefitted United Way of Greater Houston and ALS Association: Texas Chapter. Thanks to the support of our event sponsors, chili teams, and a silent auction featuring autographed sports memorabilia from favorite athletes like J.J. Watt, we were able to raise over ,000 for both charities!

We also brought back live music, featuring two Texas country headliners: Kevin Fowler and Roger Creager! Our guests had a fantastic time ending the night at our concert under the big tent.

We had a great time and a big thanks to all of our attendees and sponsors for making this such a successful event! We’ll see you at next year’s Chili Fest for an even bigger and better event!
