This video is my love letter to Third Ward in Houston, Texas. There are too many videos that depict Third Ward as an undesirable, unsafe, culturally defunct place. I get real about Third Ward’s history and politics of gentrification. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s beautiful and imbued with histories we can learn so much from. I hope I was able to offer you a fresh perspective of Third Ward in this video!!
