Mechanical Engineer:

Needed ABET degreed engineer to perform mechanical design by CAD/CAM to create designs, drawings, and ultimately parts.  Preferably experienced in FEA for Stress and gas flow; also in creating 3D animated and exploded assembly CAD illustrations.

 

Requirements:

ABET Degree in Mechanical and or Structural Engineering

Experience using CAD/CAM proficiency (Expert level)

 

Preferred

FEA for Stress and gas flow

Creation of 3D animation and exploded assembly for CAD illustrations

Must be US Citizen, Green Card, or have HB1 Visa to qualify for this contract.

Willing to work on 1099 Basis.

TITLE:  Software Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position will develop client specific solutions by designing, developing, testing and installing software-based products.  Employer is a small software startup looking for a highly motivated team player to work on customized client projects.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Determine technological feasibility of client solutions by evaluating problem definition, available resources, and solution development.
• Develop software solutions based on results of feasibility analysis.
• Document code development to enable reuse of software developed.
• Create unique and proprietary software solutions to meet requirements.
• Hold client and employer proprietary information confidential.
•  Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users and potential users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle.

 

 

MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• BCompSc or graduate degree in computer science or proven equivalent level of knowledge.
• Experienced in objective C program development.  Prefer Cocoa/Cocoa Touch experience.
• Experienced in SQL development and deployment.
• Experienced in web server integration with SQL databases.
• Experienced in data security methods over Internet paths.

PREFERRED CANDIDATES ALSO WILL POSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Java development experience
• Software testing fundamentals
