Marine Steve and I were upgraded to Business Class weeks ago and settled in for a 10-1/2 hour flight down to “Evita-land” with many On Demand movie selections to choose from. A wonderful crew, good food and time was ticking away until I noticed the little plane on the air map pointing East instead of South, about one-hour out of Buenos Aires.
My thinking, “Okay, the little air map has gone kaflooey” and then THE announcement…”Ash from Calbuco Volcano eruption in Chile has made landing in Buenos Aires too dangerous so we are diverting to Sao Paulo, Brazil”…
No one has ever said travel isn’t exciting!
