Nellie Chappell-White started her first business when she was just 17 years. She was a part-time aerobics instructor for her community bank coworkers.

Since then, she has grown other small businesses from the ground up. In 2000, she moved to Houston, where she discovered government contracting and met her current business partners.

As president, Nellie leads JES Tech, a Houston-based SBA Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and valued partner to government agencies like NASA.

In this episode, Nellie joins Texas Citizens Bank president Mike Cornett and Director of Partnerships at The Cannon, Hillary Zanoni to talk about the personal and professional lessons in leadership she learned as a young entrepreneur.
